Fire Call & Burning Permit Notice
Real and personal property owners are liable for the full amount of a fire run. Check your homeowner policy to make sure you have sufficient coverage. If you do not report to dispatch before a controlled burn and the fire department is called out you will be charged for the false alarm.
The dispatch phone number is 1-800-281-3478 and is to be called at least 2 hours prior to burning. Dispatch will let you know if the township has a burning ban in place.
It is not necessary to call the town for a permit.
