ST. CROIX COUNTY
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The St. Croix County Community Development Committee will be continuing a public hearing on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 5:00 PM, or shortly thereafter, at the St. Croix County Government Center, County Board Room, 1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson, Wisconsin, to consider amendments to current Chapter 11 (Animal Waste Storage Facilities) of the St. Croix County Code of Ordinances. A summary of the proposed amendments include:
• Update Introduction section to incorporate current Wisconsin Administrative Code and Natural Resource Conservation Service regulations and standards
• Amend language to remove “Animal Waste” and replace with “Manure”
• Update Operational Standards and Annual Update reporting requirements for a “Manure Waste Storage Facility”
• Update submittal requirements for a “Manure Waste Storage Facility”
• Additions, deletions, and amended words in the Definitions section
A copy of the proposed amended ordinance may be viewed at https://sccwi.gov/406/Animal-Waste and is on file at the office of the St. Croix County Community Development Department at 1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson, Wisconsin.
