TOWN OF SPRINGFIELD, ST. CROIX COUNTY
ANNUAL TOWN MEETING 4/16/24
Present: Chair Dean Fayerweather, Supervisors Jim Mahoney & Barry Ketchum, Clerk/Treasurer Sheri Erickson, Mark Erickson, Luke Nirmaier, and Amy Covington
Meeting was called to order by Dean Fayerweather at 6:30 pm.
A motion was made by Barry to approve the agenda and seconded by Dean. Motion carried.
Last year’s annual meeting minutes were presented. A motion was made by Barry to approve the minutes and seconded by Dean. Motion carried.
The road plan for 2024 & 2025 was presented.
Draft copy of the financial report for 2023 was presented.
A motion was made by Sheri to authorize board to borrow money and seconded by Dean. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Mark to authorize to hire town officers as employees of the town and seconded by Sheri. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Dean to set the hourly wage to $15 of elected officer as employee of the town and seconded by Barry. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Barry to set the elected board wages for April 2025 to March 2027 period to stay the same as the current rate and seconded by Dean. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Jim to set the next year’s annual meeting on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, and seconded by Dean. Motion carried.
