Tuesday, April 19, 2022, Regular Meeting
The REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING for the Town of Springfield was called to order by Barry Ketchum at 6:44 PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
PRESENT: Supervisors: Jim Mahoney & Barry Ketchum, Clerk/Treasurer Sheri Erickson, Mark Erickson, Tom Jenkins, Josh Melstrom
A motion was made by Jim & 2nd by Barry to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Rural Mutual Insurance Presentation: Tom Jenkins from Rural Mutual presented some cost savings options on the township policy and answered questions about what the policy covered.
Building Inspector Presentation: Josh Melstrom presented his building inspecting services and answered questions presented by the board.
A motion was made by Jim & 2nd by Barry to approve the Regular March minutes as presented. Motion carried.
The March financial report was read. A motion was made by Barry & 2nd by Jim to approve the report as read. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Barry & 2nd by Jim to approve the bills to be paid in April at a total of $13,875.27. Motion carried.
Clerk report: Sheri informed the board of the increase fees the auditor stated when picking up the records. Also reported on building permits and fire call.
A motion was made by Barry & 2nd by Jim to table the ARPA Revenue Loss Election until the April 20, 2022 Special Meeting. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Barry & 2nd by Jim to change the May regular meeting date to the second Wednesday of May – May 11, 2022. Motion carried.
Recycling/ Maintenance Report: Mark updated the board on the culvert fix on 80th Ave and 280th St.
